IFIP 8.2 Pre-Conference Q&A Workshop

 

Lynette Kvasny

Lynette Kvasny serves as Assistant Professor of Information Sciences and Technology, and a founding member of the Center for the Information Society at the Pennsylvania State University. She is also a Visiting Professor at Salford University in Manchester, UK.

She earned a Ph.D. in Computer Information Systems from the Robinson College of Business, Georgia State University. She is the recipient of the National Science Foundation’s CAREER award. Her research interests include historically underserved groups and their adoption and use of IT, and diversity in the IT workforce and institutions of higher learning. Her research has been published in journals including the Information Systems Journal, Data Base for Advances in Information Systems, Journal of Computer Mediated Communication, Information, Communication and Society, and the International Journal of Technology and Human Interaction. Kvasny’s research has also been published in over a dozen book chapters, and presented at premiere conferences including the International Federation for Information Processing – Working Group 8.2, Telecommunications Policy Research Conference, and the International Conference on Information Systems.
